This is a high-quality original Linoprint artwork of a mouse nervously gazing into an empty pot while perched on a stool. Unaware of the cat looming in the open doorway. This print is an illustration inspired by the story titled “the cat and mouse in partnership” a Grimm's fairy tail. In this story, the mouse and cat make an a agreement to buy a pot of fat together to save for the winter. The cat is greedy and secretly eats the whole pot of fat over a few months. The mouse starts to grow suspicious of the cat and confronts the cat. The cat decides to retaliate by eating the mouse. The paper size is approx 420 mm x 297mm and is printed on High-quality 100% recycled white paper 300 GSM This print is sold UNFRAMED and shipped wrapped in tissue paper inside a recyclable envelope in an attempt to keep my shop as Eco friendly as possible. I carve, mix ink and print each of my lino prints by hand. This can lead to slight variations in colour on prints of the same design, making each item wonderfully unique.
